Honestly? We started because our founder, Branford Kellaway, was tired of watching friends make the same budget mistakes over and over. Smart people. Good jobs. But when rent came due, things always felt chaotic.

He began creating simple frameworks—nothing fancy, just practical ways to see where money actually went each month. Those early spreadsheets turned into consultations with mates, which eventually became the foundation of what we do today.

By mid-2020, word had spread across Queensland. We weren't promising miracles or overnight wealth. Just honest guidance on prioritizing expenses, building cushions, and planning ahead without the jargon. That approach resonated with people who were exhausted by overpromises.

When his sister struggled with debt despite earning decent money, he realized the issue wasn't income—it was prioritization. That moment changed everything. Now he spends his days helping individuals and small business owners in Queensland create budgets that actually work for their lives. Outside of client work, he's usually hiking somewhere around Lamington National Park or testing new coffee spots in Surfers Paradise.
